Molded French Cream
Molded French Cream is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream, 1 c. whipping cream (add more if you like), 3/4 c. sugar, 1 envelope unflavored gelatin and 1/4 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine sour cream and whipping cream.
Add sugar; beat well. Cook over low heat until warm.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add to cream mixture.
Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add vanilla.
Pour into lightly oiled mold.
Chill until firm. Unmold on platter; garnish with frosted grapes or other fruits.
