Molasses Cookies
Molasses Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (1/2 oleo and 1/2 shortening), 1 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. molasses and 4 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and molasses, then add dry ingredients and cold water. Mix well.
Put in refrigerator to chill.
