Molasses Cake
Molasses Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 c. molasses, 2 eggs and 4 c. sifted plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter and sugar.
Stir in molasses, beaten with eggs. Re-sift flour with other dry ingredients.
Add alternately with milk.
Beat well after each addition until blended.
Bake in a greased 9-inch tube pan in 350Β° oven about 45 minutes.
This is delicious with apple butter as icing while cake is still warm.
