Moira's Candied Sweet Potatoes
Moira'S Candied Sweet Potatoes is an easy dinner. Made with sweet potatoes, butter, 1- 1 1/2 c. sugar and marshmallows, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Boil sweet potatoes until the outside skin peels off, and then peel them.
Slice potatoes into 1/4 in. slices and layer the bottom of a casserole dish.
Slice butter into pieces and sprinkle 1 c. to 1 1/2 c. of sugar.
Repeat layers until gone.
Bake at 375 to 425 degrees until syrupy.
Top with marshmallows.
