Missouri Casserole
Missouri Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground chuck, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 large can tomatoes, cut up, 5 or 6 medium potatoes and salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Peel and slice raw potatoes and put half of them into a greased casserole.
Add a little salt and pepper.
Cover with a layer of 1/2 of the raw ground chuck broken into small pieces and 1/2 of the onion and a little more salt and pepper.
Cover with 1/2 of the tomatoes.
Repeat all layers.
Cover and cook in 350Β° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until potatoes are done.
Add a little water during cooking, if needed.
