Minty Chocolate Fudge Sauce
Minty Chocolate Fudge Sauce is an easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. dark sweet chocolate, cut into bits, 2/3 c. heavy cream, 2 tbsp. sugar, 3 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened and 3 to 4 tbsp. crème de menthe or pure peppermint extract (a few drops), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine chocolate and cream in saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring just until chocolate is melted.
Sauce should be smooth.
Add sugar and cook, stirring constantly until completely dissolved.
Remove from heat.
Stir in butter and flavoring. Transfer to covered containers and store in refrigerator.
Will keep for up to 2 weeks.
Makes 2 cups.
