Microwave Peanut Brittle

Set power select at High.
In a 3-quart pyro-ceramic casserole dish, heat water and butter 1 1/2 minutes or until boiling.
Stir in sugar and molasses.
Heat 13 to 14 minutes or until mixture reads 300Β° when tested with candy thermometer.
Quickly stir in peanuts and baking soda, stirring it until soda foams.
Pour onto well-greased cookie sheet.
Spread thin.
Let stand until candy is hardened; break into small pieces.
