Microwave Bread Pudding
Microwave Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. bread cubes, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 2 c. milk, 2 eggs and 1/2 c. raisins (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Spread cubes in 8-inch round dish.
Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar.
Measure milk in 1-quart measuring cup.
Add butter; microwave on High about 4 minutes until butter is melted and milk warm.
Rapidly stir eggs into milk.
Pour over bread in dish. Microwave on Medium-high 9 to 12 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 6 minutes.
When cooked, center may still be slightly soft but will set as pudding cools.
Serve warm or cold.
