Preheat oven to 400°.
In a large mixing bowl, pour boiling water over the cornmeal.
Stir until smooth.
Cut margarine into small pieces and stir into hot mixture until melted.
Add sugar, salt and eggs.
Blend in the milk, 1/2 cup at a time.
Pour into a well greased glass baking dish, 8 x 12-inch.
Bake at 400° for about 45 minutes or until well browned. Let cool before cutting into 24 squares.
