Mexican Rice
Mexican Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. uncooked rice, 2 tbsp. shortening, 1/2 medium onion, diced, 1/2 clove garlic and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Fry rice in 1 tablespoon shortening until brown.
Remove and fry ground meat, onion, garlic, salt, chili powder and tomatoes. Combine meat, rice and water in casserole dish.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
