Mexican Fudge
Mexican Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. white sugar, 1 c. karo syrup (white), 1 pt. whipping cream, 10 oz. pecans, chopped (2 1/2 c.) and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine sugar, syrup, whipping cream and pecans.
Bring to boil and cook until forms soft but firm ball, stirring occasionally with wooden spoon.
Takes approximately 1 hour.
Let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
Add vanilla and salt and beat until very firm until it starts clinging together in a ball.
Takes about 20 minutes of beating.
Pour into greased 9 x 13 cake pan.
