Grease a 13 x 9 baking dish.
Mix cornmeal, buttermilk and corn together.
In a skillet, cook beef and onions.
Drain well and add peppers.
Pour half the cornmeal mixture into dish. Spread beef over mixture and cover with cheese.
Top with remaining mix.
Bake at 400° for 1 hour.
