Mexican Chocolate
Mexican Chocolate is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, 1/2 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. instant coffee, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In large saucepan, heat all ingredients except milk and cream over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat and simmer 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in milk; heat over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Beat with rotary beater until foamy.
Top serving with whipped cream. Makes 8 (2/3-cup) servings.
