Made with 1 lb. lean ground beef, 1 c. golden harvest oat bran, 3/4 c. catsup (plus about 1/4 c. for topping), 3/4 c. chopped onion and 1 to 2 tbsp. fresh minced garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
Mix in 1 to 2 tablespoons water to moisten. Pat into an 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan. Top with catsup, if desired.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
