Meat Filled Jumbo Shells
Meat Filled Jumbo Shells is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/4 lb. bulk italian sausage, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 cloves garlic, crushed and 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Saute beef, sausage, onion and garlic until meat is well browned.
Drain off fat.
Add red pepper, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, sweet basil, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, egg and wine.
Mix together.
Cook shells according to package directions. Drain shells well.
Fill each shell with meat filling.
Spread a layer of sauce on bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Place shells, open side up, in a single layer in the pan.
Cover with sauce.
Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese and bake at 350Β° for about 35 minutes until hot.
