Marcia's Mushrooms
Marcia'S Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. jar mushrooms (undrained, whole or sliced), 1 large onion, sliced, 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, 1/2 tsp. pepper and 4 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Saute onion in garlic salt, pepper and butter for about 5 minutes.
Add mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and burgundy wine.
Cook at low heat for 30 to 45 minutes.
(Longer they are cooked the better they are.)
Mix corn starch in small bowl with 1 tablespoon water.
Add to mushrooms. Cook 5 more minutes.
Can be cooked a day in advance.
Decrease or increase corn starch for thickness.
