Maraschino Cherry Cake
Maraschino Cherry Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. butter and 1 1/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter.
Add sugar gradually, creaming thoroughly.
Add flour, salt and baking powder together.
Add to butter mixture alternately with liquid.
Quarter cherries and dredge with flour the cherries and nuts.
Blend into batter.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in a tube pan or in 2 layer pans (well-greased and floured) at 350Β° for 1 hour or until done.
Cool on cake rack.
Frost with Fluffy White Frosting.
