Mango-Strawberry Cooler
Mango-Strawberry Cooler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 mango, peeled and chopped, 1 pt. strawberries, stemmed and quartered, 1/2 c. packed brown sugar, 3 tbsp. cornstarch and 3 tbsp. butter, broken into small bits, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Toss first five ingredients to mix thoroughly.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Mix in butter and milk.
Dump out on floured board.
Knead 2 to 3 times.
Rol out into 14 x 8-inch rectangle.
Spread 2/3 of the fruit mix evenly over dough.
Roll the dough up like a jelly roll.
Cut into seven even portions. Distribute in 9-inch cake pan lined with parchment.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Place remaining fruit mix in small saucepan. Cook on medium heat until thick.
