Mamaw's Banana Nut Bread
Mamaw'S Banana Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter (room temperature), 2 to 3 very ripe bananas, crushed, 2 eggs and 2 c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, crushed bananas and milk; mix well.
Add flour and nuts and stir well.
Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Allow to cool in pan 10 minutes, then place bread on cooling rack.
This is wonderful eaten warm and with cream cheese.
Makes 2 loaves.
Could also be made into muffins, baking 10 to 15 minutes.
