Macadamia Cookies
Macadamia Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1/2 c. vegetable shortening, 3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar, 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl cream butter, shortening and sugars until fluffy.
Add egg and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Add dry ingredients.
Mix until a soft dough forms. Stir in white chocolate and macadamia nuts.
Drop teaspoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
Transfer to wire rack to cool.
