Ma's Banana Cake
Ma'S Banana Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. cake flour, 1 2/3 c. sugar, 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder, 1 1/4 tsp. soda and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Sift together into bowl the flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
Then add shortening, 1/3 of milk and bananas.
Beat at middle of dial for 2 minutes.
Then add remainder of milk and eggs and beat 2 minutes more.
Fold in nuts and pour into prepared pans, 9-inch or 13 x 9 1/2-inch.
Bake 9-inch 35 minutes or 13-inch 45 minutes in 350Β° oven.
