Lucinda's Fruit Cake Cookies
Lucinda'S Fruit Cake Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. raisins, 1 lb. fruit cake mixed candied fruit *, 1 lb. chopped pecans, 1/3 c. grape juice or any juice and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cut fruit fine.
Mix in raisins and nuts.
Dredge with 1/2 cup flour.
Cream butter well and gradually add sugar.
Add eggs, 1 at a time, and beat well.
Sift flour, adding in spices.
Add the soda to the creamed mixture, then add flour and liquid, blending well. Pour the batter over the floured fruit and nuts.
Mix well.
Drop by tablespoon on greased cookie sheet.
