Loukoumothes
Loukoumothes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tsp. easy blend yeast, 1 c. warm water, 1 c. plain flour, large pinch of salt and vegetable oil (for frying), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Sift flour with salt and mix with dried yeast. Add water slowly and beat until mixture is smooth. Cover with towel and let it rest for 1 hour.
Heat oil to just under smoking point in deep fryer and drop teaspoons of mixture in, about 6 at a time.
Dip teaspoon in cold water after each drop to prevent sticking. Turn; lift out with a slotted spoon.
Sprinkle with honey and cinnamon.
