Louise'S Banana Nut Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. cooking oil, 4 eggs and 6 ripe bananas, mashed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift dry ingredients together.
Cream sugar, butter, and oil. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Alternate flour and mashed bananas.
Add nuts and raisins.
Bake in greased, floured tube pan.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until done, when tested with a toothpick.
Top with icing when cooled.
