Loaf Bread
Loaf Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. sugar, 1 heaping tsp. shortening, 1 c. boiling water, 1 tbsp. salt and 1 tsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix sugar, shortening, water and salt; cool.
Into measuring cup, put 1 teaspoon sugar, yeast and warm water; stir.
Let rise to top of cup while first mixture cools to lukewarm.
Combine the 2 mixtures in a bowl.
Beat egg and add to mixture.
Add flour, one cup at a time.
Stir until as stiff as you can handle.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Make out in rolls or 2 loaves.
Let loaves rise again for about 2 hours.
Put in greased pans and bake at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
