Lime Sweet Pickles
Lime Sweet Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 cucumbers, 1 c. pickling lime, 9 c. vinegar, 9 c. sugar and 2 tbsp. pickling spices, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Soak 8 cucumbers in 1 cup of pickling lime for 24 hours.
Rinse and drain until water is clear, about 3 times.
Into roasting pan, measure 9 cups vinegar and 9 cups sugar.
Let dissolve.
Add 2 tablespoons pickling spices in a cloth.
Tie and put in mixture. Add 1 teaspoon salt.
Cool until mixture boils for about 35 minutes.
Turn out fire and let stand 24 hours.
After the 24 hours, bring the mixture to boil.
Have jars boiled and ready. Place in jars and seal.
When cool, tighten lids.
Now you have pickles.
