Lima Bean Casserole
Lima Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 boxes frozen baby lima beans, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 small onion, chopped, 8 strips bacon and bacon drippings, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Boil lima beans until tender.
While they are boiling, fry bacon until crisp and break into bits.
Grate the cheese and have it ready.
When beans are tender, drain off water and add onion to hot beans along with the bits of bacon and 1 or 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings.
Add cheese and soup and mix well.
Pour into buttered casserole dish; sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake at 350Β° for about 30 minutes.
