Lemon Pie
Lemon Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, 6 tbsp. cornstarch, 2 c. water, 1/3 c. lemon juice and 3 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix sugar and cornstarch together in top of double boiler. Add water.
Combine egg yolks with juice.
Add to rest of mixture and cook until thick over boiling water for 25 minutes. (This does away with starch taste.)
Now add lemon flavoring, butter and vinegar.
Stir thoroughly.
Pour into a deep 9-inch baked pie shell and let cool.
Cover with meringue and brown.
