Leek Rings
Leek Rings is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 or more leeks, 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 c. bisquick, 2 tbsp. seasoned salt and 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Slice white portion of leeks into 1/4-inch slices.
Separate rings (they'll look like mini-onion rings).
Mix flour, Bisquick, seasoned salt and cayenne pepper together in a bowl.
Pour half of a bottle of beer (or so) into another bowl.
Dip out 10 leek rings at a time into the beer, then into the flour mixture.
Shake off excess flour.
Fry rings in peanut oil until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Serve hot.
