Kentucky Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. flour, 2 eggs, slightly beaten, 1/4 lb. butter or margarine, melted and cooled and 1 c. broken pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix together sugar and flour; add eggs, butter, pecans, chocolate bits (melted) and vanilla.
Pour into frozen pie crust and bake at 325Β° for 1 hour.
Best served slightly warm with whipped cream.
