June's Squash-a-Roni
June'S Squash-A-Roni is an easy dinner. Made with 5 medium yellow squash, cut into chunks, 1 bunch whole green onions, chopped, 1 lb. velveeta cheese, diced, 1 box chicken flavored rice-a-roni and 1 to 2 chopped jalapeños (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In boiling water, simmer squash for 5 minutes.
Drain and return to pan.
Add onions and cheese.
Cover and set aside. Prepare Rice-A-Roni according to directions on box.
Add to squash mixture.
