Joan's Cheesecake
Joan'S Cheesecake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. cream cheese (room temperature), 1/4 lb. unsalted butter (room temperature), 1 tbsp. vanilla, 1 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 c. minus 1 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Preheat oven to 350°.
Place rack 1/3 way up from bottom of oven.
Beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy.
Add vanilla, sugar and cornstarch.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, on low speed.
While beating, add cream and juice (batter will be thin).
Pour into pan and place pan into larger pan.
Pour hot water to depth of 1 inch in larger pan.
Place pans in oven for 30 minutes.
Rotate pans and increase temperature to 375° for 15 minutes, or until top is golden brown.
Remove from oven; cool on rack.
May invert onto dish, if desired.
