Jewish Apple Cake

Peel apples and cut into small chunks, about the size of a thimble.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Mix and set aside. Beat remaining ingredients together until smooth and pour half of the batter into a greased tube pan. Arrange 1/2 of the apple mixture over the batter. Pour in remaining batter and top with the rest of apple mixture. Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Cake should be a golden brown in color. Remove and let cool a few minutes. Then remove from the pan and let cool on the rack.
