Jewish Apple Cake
Jewish Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs and 1 c. vegetable oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine 2/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
Sift together flour and baking powder.
Combine 2 cups sugar, oil and eggs. Beat well.
Then beat in orange juice and vanilla while alternately beating in flour mixture.
Combine well.
Pour 1/2 batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan (batter will be thick).
Top batter with 1/2 apples and 1/2 cinnamon-sugar combination.
Pour on remaining batter with remaining apples and cinnamon-sugar on top.
Bake at 325Β° for 90 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan.
