Jewish Apple Cake
Jewish Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 3 tsp. baking powder and 1 c. wesson oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Sift flour, baking powder and 1 1/2 cups sugar together (save 1/2 cup sugar).
Make indentation in center.
Add orange juice, vanilla, eggs and oil.
Mix until smooth.
Grease and flour 9 to 10-inch tube pan.
Put in layer of batter, layer apples, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon (in each layer, divided 3 times), ending with apples on top, and sugar on top of apples.
Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350Β°.
