Jelly Roll
Jelly Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 eggs, separated, 1 c. confectioners sugar, 2 tbsp. ice water, 1 c. (heaping) sifted flour and 1 tsp. (rounded) baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Stir egg yolks lightly; add sugar.
Stir until creamy.
Add ice water and blend.
Sift flour and baking powder several times. Sift into bowl, stirring.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites with salt.
Bake in a long, shallow pan at 400Β° for 15 minutes.
Turn out on damp cloth and spread with jelly.
Roll up while warm. When cool, dust with powdered sugar.
