Jane's Peanut Brittle
Jane'S Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. unroasted peanuts, 1/2 c. water, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. light corn syrup and 2 tsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
👨🍳 Instructions
Cook syrup, water and sugar to hard ball stage (250° to 265°). Add peanuts and continue to cook, stirring occasionally until mixture is light brown in color (302°).
Stir in butter, soda and salt.
Pour on greased cookie sheet while still foaming.
Cool slightly and stretch to desired thinness and break into pieces.
