Jam Cake
Jam Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 2 c. sugar, 6 egg yolks, 4 c. sifted plain flour and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well.
Stir in jam, add flour which has been sifted with spices, alternately with sour cream and ending with flour.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in four 9-inch layers in 350Β° oven until center springs back when pressed with finger.
(May also be baked in a tube pan.)
