Jalapeño Pepper Jelly
Jalapeño Pepper Jelly is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. ground green pepper, 1/4 c. seeded and ground jalapeño peppers, 5 c. sugar, 1 c. apple cider vinegar and 2 pouches liquid fruit pectin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix peppers, sugar and vinegar in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes.
Add pectin and boil hard 1 minute. Stir in food coloring.
Pour into hot clean jars to within 1/2-inch of top. Screw on tops firmly.
Process in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
Makes about 5 (8 ounce) jars.
