In a bowl, stir together cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
Mix all ingredients well.
In a separate bowl, beat eggs and stir in milk.
Add liquid mixture to cornmeal mixture and stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour batter into 2 well-greased and preheated baking pans and bake at 425° for 30 minutes or until done.
