Italian Nut Balls
Italian Nut Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. soft butter or margarine, 3 egg yolks (save whites) and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine first three ingredients on medium speed; blend well. Add egg yolks, vanilla, and almond.
Gradually add flour to ingredients and roll into 1-inch balls.
Dip balls into 2 reserved egg whites (slightly beaten) and then roll in nuts.
Place on greased cookie sheet.
Make deep depression in center of each cookie with finger.
Add jelly.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
Yields 36 to 40.
