Italian Cheese Cake
Italian Cheese Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 eggs (separate yolks and whites), 2 c. sugar, 1 stick oleomargarine, 1/2 c. crisco butter and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream Crisco, and oleomargarine.
Add egg yolks one at a time to this mixture.
Mix together soda and buttermilk and let stand few minutes.
Alternately to creamed mixture flour and buttermilk.
Add pecans and coconut. Fold in egg whites. Beat egg whites stiff before folding in. Bake in 3 round greased and floured cake pans.
Bake at 325Β° until done.
