Italian Beef
Italian Beef is an impressive Italian dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with to 7 lb. beef roast, to 4 c. water, to 4 beef bouillon cubes, . worcestershire sauce and or 3 cloves garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook meat with seasonings except salt and pepper in Dutch oven.
Bring to a boil, then cook on low heat 3 to 4 hours until done.
Add salt and pepper to taste during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
Place sliced green peppers on top of beef and steam until tender.
Remove meat from broth and cool.
Slice beef thin and return to broth.
Serve on Italian bread.
