Irish Soda Bread
Irish Soda Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking soda, 2 tbsp. butter and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix flour, salt and baking soda.
Cut in butter until mixture looks like cornmeal.
Add buttermilk and stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
Turn out ball of dough.
Knead for 1 minute, then pat into a round, rather flat cake, about the size of a 9-inch pie pan.
Put dough on buttered cookie sheet and cut a large cross in the top.
Bake in preheated 425Β° oven for about 40 minutes.
Loaf is done when it sounds hollow when you tap it.
