Irish Oatmeal Bread
Irish Oatmeal Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder, 1 egg, 1 1/2 c. milk and 1 1/4 c. quick oats, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix in a large bowl the flour, oats, baking powder and salt. In a medium bowl, mix egg, honey and milk and beat well.
Pour egg mixture into oat mixture, stirring with a wooden spoon just until dry ingredients are moist.
Will not be smooth.
Spread in pan. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Turn out while still warm and brush top with butter.
