Irish Bread
Irish Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 to 3/4 pkg. raisins (golden and dark), 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix dry ingredients together.
Use some of the flour to mix with raisins and currants (to keep them from sticking together). Add the liquids to the dry ingredients and the fruit mixture, then nuts and pour this mixture into a well-greased and floured tube pan (10-inch), Bundt pan or 9 x 5 x 2-inch loaf pan.
When making for Christmas, I use colored candied sprinkles.
Bake at 350Β° for approximately 1 hour.
(Batter will be thick.)
