Iona's Sunday Cake
Iona'S Sunday Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box lemon or pineapple cake mix, 1 small box banana instant pudding, 2 c. milk, 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened and 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix cake mix as directed on package; bake 20 minutes on a large cookie sheet.
Combine pudding mix, milk and cream cheese; beat until thick and well blended; spread on cooled cake. Layer well-drained crushed pineapple on pudding mixture.
Top with thinly sliced bananas.
Cover bananas with Cool Whip.
Spoon pie filling over Cool Whip and sprinkle chopped walnuts on top. Refrigerate 3 hours.
Best if served same day.
