Indian Pudding
Indian Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. cornmeal, 1 c. cold salted water (1 tsp.), 2 c. scalded milk, 1 beaten egg and 1/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix together cornmeal and salted water.
Stir in scalded milk. Bring to a boil, stirring.
Boil 10 minutes.
Blend egg, sugar, molasses, butter, cinnamon and ginger.
Pour into buttered 1 quart casserole and bake 1/2 hour.
Stir in 1 cup of cold milk.
Bake 2 hours at 300Β°.
Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
