"In and out" Skillet Beef
"In And Out" Skillet Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. rare roast beef, sliced deli style and cut into strips, 1 (14 oz.) can beef gravy, 2 dashes worcestershire sauce, salt to taste and 1/3 c. sherry, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the roast beef. Separate the slices and "drape" them around the pan.
When warm, add the gravy, Worcestershire and salt.
Cook and stir, blending well and coating the meat as much as possible.
Add the sherry and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
Then add the tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, peas and carrots.
Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Serve hot with garlic bread.
