Imperial Crab
Imperial Crab is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. backfin crab meat, 2 oz. butter, 1 tbsp. flour, 1/2 c. cream or milk and 1 egg yolk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Stir butter in double boiler until melted.
Add flour and stir until smooth.
In a bowl, mix cream, egg yolk, mustard, paprika, seafood seasoning and Worcestershire sauce.
Add this mixture to flour mixture and heat and stir in double boiler until thickened. Remove from heat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Carefully add crab meat to mixture.
Place in greased shells or baking dish and bake 15 to 30 minutes at 350Β°.
Yields 5 shells.
